Subject: How do wasps/stinging insects see

I work in the boating industry and encounter many insect nests, I was told 
that wasps and other stining insects see us by our carbon dioxide discharge of 
our breath? His point was if you hold your breath they can't see you. If this 
is true we should get the word out!! Thank you D
