Hi,
I have read after doing various searches that bacteria such as E-Coli require
nutrients to grow, but what essential nutrients? For example in a broth made up
of meat extract, glucose, potassiun hydrogenphosphate and distilled water what
nutrients is the E-Coli gaining from each ingredient?
