I am an ophthlamologist, specializing in Glaucoma. I am interested in the
molecular biology of Primary Congenital Glaucoma. All the literature I have
scanned only talks of mutations in the coding region of the disease-causing
gene CYP1B1. Why hasnt the non-coding region been analyzed? Is disease not
manifested by a mutation in the non-coding region?
