Subject: What is the source of sugar in nongreen plant tissues

I am looking at a nongreen Coleus leaf tissue and a nongreeen corn leaf
tissue. They both tested positive for sugar and I am wondering why? Also,
sugar is found in all green plants correct? THANKS SO MUCH!
