Mice like all animals require a healthy, balanced diet to maintain a
healthy weight, expecially in captivity where physical activity may be
limited.  Too many fats and oils (junk food) in the mouse's diet can lead
to obesity and health problems.  The links below describe healthy diets for
mice and rats.
