I mean when glucose levels are high the levels of cAMP are low, when the
glucose levels are low, the levels of cAMP are high what are the details of
this relationship metabolically. I wrote earlier about this question, but I
was given a eukaryotic explanation and not a prokaryotic one. I understad how
the lac operon works, but not the part about the glucose-cAMP relationship.
Could you shed some light on this? Are these glucose levels external or
internal to the bacteria? Thanks!
