I base my question on the famous tortoise and hippo pair who befriended after
the 2004 tsunami. The tortoise (male) is reported to be 130 years old. While
a tortoise's longevity is amazing in itself, I was curious to know at what
point a male, and for that matter, a female would stop attempting/be able to
reproduce. It also seems like males live longer than females (?).
