Hi, Lynnsy,
According to the Melbourne Planetarium, the widest crater on the visible side of the moon is named Bailly and is 295 km across. The deepest on the visible side is named Newton and is 8.85 km deep.

Wikipedia has entries on many entries on moon craters. There seems to be some disagreement in the exact numbers from different sources, and it's sometimes unclear whether people are referring to the whole moon or just the visible side. Both Wikipedia and the Nine Planets website reference the South Pole-Aitken basin as the largest crater on the moon (and indeed in the solar system)---it is on the far side and is 2250 km wide and 12 km deep.

Neil
