No, one cannot get drunk by pouring alcohol directly on thier skin. In
order to feel intoxicated from alcohol, the alcohol has to enter the blood
stream. Although your epidermis (outer layer of skin) is vasculated
(which means it has a blood supply), the capillaries are small and not
enough alcohol can penetrate the epidermis to feel any effect. Alcohol
does however remove oil, sweat and dirt from the surface of the skin. So
pouring alcohol directly on your skin, will most likely only result in
your skin being cleansed, but dry. If you would like more information on
the anatomy of skin you can visit http://www.essentialdayspa.com/Skin_Anathomy_and_Physiology.htm and if you
would like more information on how your body utilizes alcohol you can
