My son is 12, and fascinated with vehicles, speed, and power. He wants to try
to build a go-cart, and put together an engine which runs on water. It is
called "fuel from water", and he got it from a website. Is this idea of using
water as fuel even feasible? If so, aren't we talking about hydrogen, and
wouldn't it then be a BAD idea? I have received very little definitive
information about such an idea, but plenty of scoffing. I want to encourage my
son to explore this area of science to the degree he is able to-without blowing
himself up. Thank you sincerely for your time.
