If two 200 atom blocks of radioactive material were decaying, one with a half
life of 30 minutes and the other of 100 days; I would have to avoid all
those "bullets" for 30 minutes from the first because it is so "hot" but could
easily avoid one a day from the second. The shorter half life seems more
dangerous.
