When a person is tall, does the heart need more energy to pump the blood to the
upper part of his body and therefore the heartbeat will increase??How about the
sex of a person? I read from a science book that women tend to have a higher
heartbeat than men but they did not explain why. My teacher said that there is no
difference in heartbeat betweeen a male and female. So who is correct?? Please
enlighten. Thank you for your time. Hope to hear from you soon.
