Dose depleting the oil from under the surface of the earth eventually cause
friction on the tectonic plates? Is the oil under the earths surface there to
keep the tectonic plates running smooth and if we keep using the oil could this
lead to friction within the slipping plates and eventually lead to increased
earthquake and tsunami activity? Oil may play a large part in the mechanical
workings of our planet.
