I've noticed that when I have both lemon and salt on my food, that the
tartness of the lemon juice is toned down a bit. I've also noticed when I'm
eating tomato sauce, that I have to keep reapplying salt in order to taste it
well. I'm wondering if these things noticed are due to a chemical reaction of
some kind. Thanks for your help!
