Well, this question is a bit hard to answer, as there is no information
entered on your location, or what you may be filtering.  Whenever you are
talking about disposal of any items, your locality may have very
specialized regulations.

That being said, in general, the carbon nanotube itself will not pose any
significant issue for disposal.  However, the material that you are
filtering may be a hazardous waste, and subject to disposal regulations,
depending on the quantity trapped.
