In every language i have been exposed to eleven and twelve don't follow the
pattern of the other numbers, German 11,12 elf,zwalf spanish 11,12 once,dose?
not sure about the spelling but what started this? it seems to me that in
english it would have been fine to call them firsteen and secoteen
