The list is infinite!

We cannot prevent either heart disease or cancer, two of our biggest killers. We do not understand in detail, how either of those arises, though there is good progress being made.

We do not know in detail, how diet affects health.

There are a couple of other minor issues; it would be quite nice to know better treatments for most diseases :-)
