Source of catalase-cell lysate of Streptomyces coelicolor.
Conc of H2O2-30mM.
Assay system used:50microlitre lysate+1ml of 30mM H2O2
Measured decrease in O.D at 240nm.
Observed a decrease in catalase activity of a mutant lysate as compaed to WT.
I didn't do a saturation curve to begin with.
So how significant n reliable is the trend obsrvd since it ws dne at non-
saturatin H2O2 concentration?
