I know that the long-term stress hormone cortisol occurs as a result of the
HPA axis (the process of the brain producing hormones under stress that result
in the adrenal glands producing cortisol). I know that adrenalin is the short-
term stress hormone, but I can not find information on whether secretion of
adrenalin is a result of the same brain-body process, the HPA axis.
