Hi Peter, and thanks for your question. While it's certainly possible to clone fat cells and grow vats of fat, the economics of doing so far exceed the cost of obtaining fat from any natural source. Even relatively expensive power sources like solar would be much more feasible than culturing fats.

We need every smart person to keep thinking about ideas for renewable energy, though, so keep it up!
