Subject: why don't objects moving near speed of lite become black holes

according to special relativity mass increases with speed.  do objects moving
near the speed of light relative to me look like black holes but would not look
like a black hole to someone in the same frame of reference as the object?  this
seems paradoxical that for some observers an object is a black hole but not for
others.
