An interesting question. I've seen this as a major concern with tea. But I would think that the taste won't change. And I don't think there is much difference with tea either. But I guess I would probably do the actual experiment -- do a triangle test -- 2 samples are one and the third is the other. And therefore if people aren't guessing they should do better than a 1/3 chance of getting the right answer. There are statistical tables then for evaluating the data based on the number of participants. Happy coffee tasting.
