This microbe is a member of the family Microbacteriaceae which is a family of bacteria of the order Actinomycetales. Actinomycetales are considered to be gram positive. But they are quite variable and their response to the gram stain may not be as expected for gram positive bacteria. But the basic cell wall structure is that of a gram positive organism.
