The Dead Sea has a very high salt content, ~34%. What causes the visible eddy
currents in the surface when it is disturbed? It is similar to the distortion
seen in high concentrations of acids, like battery acid or hydrochloric acid.
And why doesn't the excess salt percipitate out?
