I know that white and light colors are best to wear, especially in the summer,
since they reflect light as opposed to absorbing it. However, I have read that
these colors are also absorbs UV radiation. Would wearing black and dark
clothing be safer, despite the added discomfort, since it wold act like melanin
does for organisms?

Also, does the material of the clothing (like it density) factored into its
ability to safety absorb UV radiation?

Thank you for the help.
