Dear Sir/Madam,
Hello and good day to you.
I have 2 questions here which I am dying to know.

1) Why is it that some animals and plants have short or long life cycles? Are
there any factors or conditions that cause them to have such short or long life
cycles??

2) I was looking at some books on animals and their life cycles. It seems that
most of the larger mammals have longer gestation period than smaller animals,
why? Is there any reasons to this??

Hopefully can hear from you soon. Thank you in advance and have a nice day
ahead.
