My 7 yr old daughter is home-schooled. She discovered that black widow
spiders have 8 eyes when we were designing a pinata. Later, she was
watching a film about the human brain. Now she wants to know why we have
to use a chunk of brain much larger than the whole black widow spider for
only 2 eyes. She can understand answers in biology that are worded for
grades 7 - 9. I'm having trouble with this one -- any direction would be
appreciated. Thank you! (We also made a bat pinata and a skunk pinata.)
