During discussions re the length of day at the poles, we wondered 
if there was a corresponding variance at the equator.  Having read your 
MadSci search results, I now know that the sun is directly overhead at the 
equator twice a year.  Alas, this still does not tell me the length of 
daylight during this occurence.  Thanks!
