I've been looking around on various websites to find the answer, but the 
problem is, all that I get are graphs, formulas and statistics.  All the 
information uses some scientific-jargon, and I'm very lost.  I need to know 
this as a basic background for the continuing of my research assignment.  I 
would greatly appreciate ANY help with this, and any related links which could 
be UNDERSTANDABLE.  Thank you
