I learned in school, in the US, that there are 7 continents: Africa,
Antarctica, Australia, Asia, Europe, S. America, N. America. This #, I was
told, is based on plates.
The Europeans that I have met tell me that there are 5 continents: Africa,
Oceania, Asia, Americas & Europe.
Who's right? What are the definitions?
