This is a physician asking about organic chemistry, my college minor!
My wife likes to bathe our Rottweiler in the shower. A sulfurous odor
is developing, probably due to accumulating rotting hair. How do I
get rid of the odor? I can't get at the trap to extract the hair, and
more will probably gather in the future. Sodium hydroxide and
bacterial products don't do much. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Franklin Drucker, M. D.
