The e.m.f of a galvanic cell is obtained by substracting the respective red
uction potentials of the half cells.this is correct,but how can we apply 
such a thing,when we know that the reduction potential of a cell is a 
intensive property of the cell and hence can not be simply added or 
substracted.?
