I understand atmospheric latitudes can explain why certain eye
colours are prevalent in a region. But what I ask is more
simple, although I can't seem to find the answer on my own: I
am ignorant as to why eyes temporarily change colour. For
example, after a good cry, I notice blue-eyed friends often
appear to suddenly have green eyes. Is that a biochemistry
reaction affecting the iris?
