Since the interaction of the earth and Moon produce bulges of water on
opposite sides of the Earth, wouldn't it make sense to assume only 2 high
tides are possible in a 24 hour period? I have heard there are places on
Earth where there are 4 in 24 hrs. Is this possible? Does it have anything
to do with resonance?
