The Jiles-Atherton magnetic model has been used on some electronic simulation programs to provide a more realistic representation of

magnetic devices. It apprantly accounts for such things as core loss and

and magentic saturation of the core material in inductors and

transformers.

I would like to know what the model is, the equations defining the model,

the definition of the terms in the model and equations, and how to define

the model for undefined magnetic core materials.

I belive the name of person who developed the model is David Jiles.
