Actually, the question started out as "do fish drink water?" & quickly
grew. (This is a class question.) We figured they do need water but
do they get it through their mouth, gill function, or through food
sources? Additionally, we wanted to know if the salt in ocean water
is somehow filtered out, or is it just not harmful to a fish like it
is for a human. We really did try to find out on our own!
Thanks in advance,
Mrs. Swyka's 4th grade class
