What happens when a student who is playing a radio in a room surrounded by
soundproof glass and a person passing by the room doesn't hear the sound? Why?
What is in the soundproof glass to prevent the sound waves from travelling?
Sound waves can travel through a solid, liquid or a gas--so why won't it travel
through the glass? My students stumped me with this one as I couldn't
provide an answer for the contents of soundproof glass. Thanks!!
