     The shape of the wing is not the primary concern for the creation of 
lift.  In fact, the angle of attack is more important.  The shape of the 
wing is important to such things as how easily the wing slides through the air, 
for stall considerations, and for a smaller component of the lift.
     
     For an excellent and comprehensive treatment of this subject, you

Flies, an online book about flight.  See especially chapter 3 for the 
concepts which you seek.
