Pretend you're standing on the ground looking at Orion's belt
and the nearby star Sirius. I need to know the distance between
Sirius and the first star on Orion's belt in centimeters as if
you were holding a ruler up to the sky. Now, if one was to take
a picture of the sky and draw a north-south line through the
first star on Orion's belt, then how many degrees from North
would the star Sirius be? Also, if possible, would you be able
to tell me if the position of Sirius to the constellation Orion
(as seen from the ground)would have been any different say, ten
thousand years ago? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You...
