Here is information from the website: Bird Health FAQ .... 5. A healthy bird makes healthy-looking feces.

" A healthy poop is well formed and consists of a dark region (non-digestibles), a white/off white part (nitrogenous wastes known as urates), and a fluid part (which is usually variable in amount, depending on how much water the animal has ingested either by drinking or by eating foods high in water content). If you change your bird's diet you may notice changes in color (for instance, a bird that goes from eating seed to eating pellets will show feces that go from being greenish to being tan or brownish). Colorful foods will affect the color of the bowel movements that follow. For example, a bird that eats a lot of watermelon may surprise its owner by producing very watery, pink-tinged feces, which, although perfectly normal, can be very alarming! "
