Message:

When a person uses his arms to carry out work, the muscle builds up to
meet the demand, but with eyesight, the more you read etc, the worse it
gets. Why do people become myopic in the first place? Surely when a person
is short sighted their ability to cope with their environment is decreased.
Is there evolutionary advantage in being shortsighted?
