I tested 5 different wing designs 50 times each to see which one would fly the farthest. I tested a triangle wing design, a modified triangle (looks like a star trek badge), a rectangular wing, a semi circular wing and a sloping wing (looks like a rectangle bent backwards). I thought the triangle wing design would fly the farthest because of a greater surface area. I thought the greater surface area would give it a greater air foil and therefore more lift allowing it to fly the farthest. I was wrong. The smallest wing, the modified triangle flew the farthest. Looking at all the wings together the only thing I've noticed is that the angle of the front tip(the nose of the wing) is smaller than all the rest. Can you help me explain these results?
