Of course, blondes are not dumb, or at least no moreso than any other 
person.  It is a stereotype, which is a trait that is unfairly applied
to a large group of people simply because a few individuals in that 
group have that trait.  

Most races and social groups have some sort of stereotype associated 
with them.  For example, when I was young, back before there was printed
paper, people thought that children with red hair were all bullies.  
Of course, perhaps some of them were, but surely not all of them were.
