After reading the Re:What gases are in a black light bulb and how does it
work, I was still left wondering what the differences are between other
light bulbs, and black lights. What is the phosphor coating used and is
there a chemical fomula for it? Are there any other types of glass used
except dark blue to create the image. Also, what is the dye talked about
on the bulb? Is there a specific chemical formula for it? This
information is for a class chemisty assignment about the chemistry behind
a black light. Any information would be helpful, thank you.
