During a recent physics debate a asked what might hapen when the poles of
a bar magnet, were joined by bending the bar so that the ends might meet,
my physic's teacher was unable to answer this question. I wonder whether
this would result in the magnet lossing it's magnetism, or a singlualr
pole. Any thoughts would be welcome.
Thanks
James
