I am a teacher, and I have been searching for the answer to this question for
over a year. (While I was student teaching, I noticed a dead roach in the hall-
-and it was upside down.) That made me wonder why they flip over, or if they
flip over because they die. This question became my "Truly Trivia" question of
the week for my kids. I've gotten attempts at answers since then, but I'm still
looking for an answer that will convince me.
