My brother used an axe to try to kill a snake that has been crawling 
around his yard for a few weeks. He cut the snake in half (as he was 
afraid to get to close to the head) and the front half slithered away into 
the bushes. Can snakes regenerate (like earth worms) or will it die from 
being cut in half?
