We know that photosynthesis produces oxygen and cellular respiration
produces carbon dioxide. Can these molecules be used by the plant cell
(for cellular respiration and photosynthesis respectively) without being
released into the atmosphere first? If not, how does the plant get the
oxygen in and to its cells? Is it through the same stomata through which
carbon dioxide enters? I know some oxygen enters through the roots but is
this somehow transported to the leaves? Thanks!
