I am conducting an elementary level scientific experiment about how temperature (cold, hot) affects muscluar activity. I am planning to have the students write their names (20 times) in three trials: (1) normal body temperature (2)after holding an ice cube for 1 minute and (3) after soaking their hand in hot water. I already know that muscles work better when they are warm, but I can't seem to find any scientific explanation for that. Please help!
Re: How does temperature affect muscluar activity, scientifically speaking?
