I found a caterpillar in a field on my way home from school. I put it in a small aquarium with leaves and plants and twigs, it immediatly climbed up onto a twig leaning against the side and the next day it had made a cacoon. It is around 2 inches long and is stripped black, green and yellow. I am not quite sure what species it is yet. I was wondering how long it will take for it to emerge from its cocoon and what type of butterfly it will turn into and stuff like that.
